The product, in the report: Office chair https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019NW42EA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019NW42EA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) chair off of Amazon about six months ago and last week the base of it snapped throwing me to the floor. I am 5’8” tall and weigh about 200 pounds. At the time I was sitting in the chair working. There was nothing else on the chair of significant weight and all I was wearing was a pair of shorts (I live near Phoenix). I’ve never abused the chair, never has two people sitting in it at that same time or anything that would have caused it to fail like that. I’m pretty sure it was a manufacturing defect. These chairs are going to seriously hurt someone if they are not recalled.
