I purchased this chair from Wayfair.com. The manufacture is named Rays furniture. I was sitting in the chair watching tv, and without any squeaking , creaking, or any noises that would indicate the chair was failing? It just snapped! the whole chair just fell back with my weight and i hit my head and suffered a concussion. When i came to, I analyze the chair and the metal piece that the upper part of the chair sits in snapped off clean! this is the second chair i received from them within the last 14 months, and the last on snapped too, but it tore the metal piece in question unevenly causing the chair to break sideways, and it also made some kind of noise that indicated so. These chairs are rated to hold 300 pounds and i only weigh 250! This chair is dangerous and needs to be discontinued.
