  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Nov 29, 2022, sent to the company Dec 2, 2022, published by CPSC Dec 16, 2022

The product, in the report: Blu Dot is the manufacturer, Real Good Chair is the model. The seat is bent sheet metal and legs are bent tube steel. We purchased 4 in black and 2 in red from the Minneapolis Outlet in 2017.

We have six Blu Dot Real Good chairs. The chairs legs are bending outward ( splaying) and at least twice a family member has fallen while sitting in the chair because the legs gave out. The most recent incident my father in law was sitting on the chair and it slowly gave out and he landed on the floor still in the chair seat because the leeward legs gave out. The rear legs also gave out while my teenage sons sat in another one of the chairs a few months ago. We have noticed that all of the chairs’ legs seem to be at different angles. All 4 of the black ones are noticeably bent out or to the side. The 2 red chairs seem not to be moving as much.
