The product, in the report: Poly lumber outdoor counter chair, 19.975”W X 27.75”D X 41.25”H, 30lbs
Berlin Gardens manufactures outdoor furniture and sells it through a network of dealers. While visiting a local dealer, I sat in a Bristol Counter Chair Model BCC2041 and with my feet on the ground, pulled the chair toward the counter dining table. The chair includes a foot rest/rung which impacted the back of my leg. Because the bottom edge of this rung was razor sharp (unlike the top, which was smooth), it caused serious lacerations to my leg causing significant bleeding and subsequent multi-day bandaging. I did not seek ER attention as stitches were not required. This is a dangerous engineeering and manaufactiring flaw and product should be altered or adjusted immmediately, perhaps via recall, to avoid similar accidents especially to children.
