As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Baby Booper Toddler Kids Portable Bean Bag Seat” on Amazon from seller Baby Booper: http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Portable-Bean-Bag-Seat/dp/B009ADZ87S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&m=A2DWYJ5S1TAIMC&qid=1357073709&s=generic&sr=1-5

November 11, 2012 we purchased a “Baby Booper Toddler Kids Portable Bean Bag Seat” on Amazon from seller Baby Booper:

    http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Portable-Bean-Bag-Seat/dp/B009ADZ87S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&m=A2DWYJ5S1TAIMC&qid=1357073709&s=generic&sr=1-5

    [REDACTED]

The product we received has no safety warnings on it. We stopped using it because our two month old daughter was able to shift into positions where her face was against the fabric (they are very under filled, which made it easy for her to put her face into the wall of the bag). While we were lucky to observe the danger and take our daughter out of the product, we wanted to make sure that you were aware, particularly as they specifically talk about its use as a “snuggle bed . . . for a newborn baby.”

We were lucky to find the previous recall, and we hope you are able to look into this matter before our near-miss becomes someone else’s tragedy, since it sounds like you took action previously for very good reason.
