The product, in the report: It is a 10 watt uplift desk task lamp with a rectangular bar fold out bulb holding arm, purchased in Feb 2016. It is black and shiny, a little over a foot tall when it is folded and standing upright on its stand.
This lamp was plugged in and not turned on, and we noticed that the power button was melted and the base was hot indicating something had caused the lamp to spontaneously and nearly catch fire. It is an 10 watt Uplift Desk Task Lamp.
