The product, in the report: Animated Safari and Aquarium Lamps (aquarium version) made by The decorative lamp is silver and features rotating films with aquatic scenes. While there are no brand markings directly on the product, “Made in China” is printed on the bottom of the lamp.
My son has a recalled Animated Safari and Aquarium Lamp (aquarium version). I just found out it was recalled after doing a web search. Over the weekend it caught fire as we slept, setting the wall and carpet next to my son’s bed on fire. Thank God we have a fire alarm and fire extinguisher. My 10 year old woke up to the flames and just started screaming. Paralyzed by fear, he couldn’t move. My husband ran in and pulled him out of bed. We used a fire extinguisher to put it out. The lamp was totally melted. We are so grateful my son wasn’t hurt physically. Emotionally is another story.
