The product, in the report: Lowes Item number 352579
My 6 year old daughter was burned on her hand and leg. She was reading in bed like she does every night. She went to turn off her Light when the cord detached from the light and the cord burnt her hand and leg. This was just bought at Lowes with in the month. After the yelling and cleaning the black marks with cold water I checked the other matching light we have and noticed that where it connects to the light it was frayed and you can see exposed copper. I took them back to Lowes first thing this morning and they saw what I saw and even pulled one off the shelf and saw the same thing at the connection point of the new one. I believe these are not only a burn issue but a HUGE fire hazard in a home. Since the one of switch is connected to the wire it is only a matter of time that others don’t get detached too.
Lowes Item Number is 352579 LED CLIP LIGHT
Please get these off their shelves.
