The product, in the report: Atelier™ 3-Piece Marble Twist Lamp Set sold by Bed Bath and Beyond Each lamp features a decorative twist design highlighted with genuine marble accents and a hand-applied royal bronze finish. The beige, trumpet-style shade has a silk-like finish that softens the entire look. Set includes a 60” H floor lamp with a three-way switch and two 27” H table lamps with on/off switches. see: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=17229630

We purchased a Atelier™ 3-Piece Marble Twist Lamp Set from Bed Bath and Beyond. We owned the lamp for several months. One evening we turned the switch on the floor lamp to turn it off. The switch began smoking and heating up. There was no damage to the bulb, the problem was clearly with the lamp. We had to unplug the lamp to stop the burning. We notified the local store manager and contacted the store concerning the problem online.
