The product, in the report: 25 watt Floor Lamp
This consumer is reporting her 25 watt floor lamp purchased November 2015 from fabric store. She has had to have one repair completed during this time since purchase and that was an $8.00 on/off switch. She has never had to adjust the keys or rotation because when she brought it home the light was already adjusted to a perfect height/angle for her. She was cooking 20’ away when she heard the crash. The lamp portion at the level of adjustment was lying on the floor and at that same level appeared to have disintegrated and fallen from lack of support. She is reporting this incident as an injury hazard because if she had been sitting under it then that portion could have hit her. There are no injuries being reported. She is trying to discover more about the manufacturer in order to call them.
