The product, in the report: Kaplan Early Learning Company Toddler Premium Cot Product number 90241- color natural dimensions 39”L x 21”W x 6”H Kaplan Early Learning Company Preschool Premium Cot Product number 90239- color natural (no longer available on website so I don’t know the exact dimensions I’m guessing 52”L x 21”W x 6”H) Cots are used for nap time in a childcare facility.
I am the Director of a childcare center and we purchased cots from Kaplan Early Learning Company in August of 2022. Since then, we have had screws pop out of them constantly posing a potential choking hazard to children. Children as young as 8 months old are sleeping on these cots for nap time. No injuries have happened yet but a small child could easily choke on these small screws.
