The product, in the report: Scale for weighing yourself
Bought a beurer designer glass scale GS44, from Bed Bath and Beyond in Westland Michigan on Sept 3, 2011. The scale not even 24 hours old. I put the scale on the floor between the toilet and the counter. I pulled it out and weighed myself and then pushed the scale back between the toilet and the counter, it caught the corner of the glass ( one big piece you stand on) and nicked the toilet. Once the corner nicked the toilet the glass exploded. I was standing in shattered glass which covered my bathroom floor and rugs. This resulted in a cut to my finger. I was in a sea of glass no exaggeration either, so my husband went to get my slippers so that I could move. Nothing you stand on should be a type of glass that shatters. What if a small child did this. Thankfully I only weigh 117 pounds!
