My glass “Weight Watchers Glass Scale Clear - Conair” spontaneously shattered. Thankfully no one was using it at the time nor in the same room as the glass shattered everywhere.

The product, in the report: A scale for personal body weighing I purchased from Weight Watchers. I do not recall when I purchased it, but I will estimate that it is about 2 years old.

As I slid my scale from under my dresser to weigh myself, it shattered into must have been 1000 pieces. I do not recall any time where the scale was dropped or where anything happened that could have caused it to shatter.

The product, in the report: Weight Watchers glass, digital bathroom scale

Item: Weight Watchers glass, digital scale for bathroom

Went into bathroom to get ready for bed and found the glass scale had exploded. We had to clean up tiny shards of glass that were all over the bathroom. Although I was barefoot, luckily I hadn’t stepped on any glass before I noticed it. Nothing happened to cause this. It happened sometime during the day , possibly while we were not home. We Google searched it and several other people have reported the same thing. We purchased the scale at Costco- maybe between 2007-2010. We took photos before we cleaned it up.
