The product, in the report: Tor Rey L-EQ-5/10 10 lb. Digital Portion Control Scale.
I Purchased an electronic Tor Rey brand portioning scale through Webstaurant.com. Received it, plugged it in to test, attempted to pull the plug from the outlet, the plug separated and two exposed, electrically charged prongs were almost contacted by my two year old daughter whom I grabbed with lightning reflex. I notified Webstaurant.com where I purchased it. They directed me to TorRey where I spoke with the service tech. He’s filing the warranty and sending my pictures of the defective plug and concerns up the chain. Unfortunately they send out the same defective plug for warranty.
