The product, in the report: Venturer electronics ONN digital AM/FM clock radio model:ONA15AV101
Mother in law bought this clock from Walmart and placed it on her kitchen counter away from any heat creating appliances. While she was sitting in the next room, she noticed a burning smell and went to check where it was coming from. The clock was smoking and started catching on fire. She was able to unplug it from the outlet, and put out the small fire. The bottom had melted onto the countertop requiring her to chip and scrape at the bottom of the clock to remove it from the counter once it had cooled enough for her to touch it.
