The product, in the report: Homeline 15A - 50A 2-Pole CAFI, GFI, or EPD Circuit Breaker Handle Padlock Attachment

I’m a Arizona State Certified Home Inspector and have found a problem with an electric panel breaker lock intended to keep the breaker from accidentially being flipped on when some one is servicing the electrical appliance the breaker is feeding power to. I inpected a new build home for its first year inspection and found the metal wire breaker locks installed in a way to keep the breakers from tripping. I have noticed this many times and this time have decided to report it. This will keep an electric panel breaker from tripping causing the wires to burn and or allowing one to get shocked to death because a breaker will never trip with this device improplery intalled. Properly installed this wire breaker lock device hangs with the wire sticking out making it look unfinisshed giving one the urge to installed it in a way to keep the breaker from tripping. I have pictures of multiple homes with this device installed improperly.
