Purchased a VEVOR 2000W sump pump battery backup system. During installation discovered that the hot and neutral conductors were reversed when connected to mains power. During battery operation, the neutral conductor which is supposed to be grounded, was floating at 60V. Both of these conditions could pose a shock hazard.
