The product, in the report: This small cheap box claims to save you energy or power by cleaning up your dirty electricity.
This product (StopWatt) claims to save you power if you plug into an ac outlet. It is a scam plus poses electrical and fire hazard for consumer. I opened the unit and found no circuitry that can save you energy. It was also miss wired and poses risks because it has an MOV (varistor) across the line voltage but has no earth ground. It also bears no agency markings like UL or CE. This item has been recalled in the UK due to fire and electrical safety issues. It is widely sold on [REDACTED] and direct from a site in USA. It is sold under various names.
