The product, in the report: Laptop computer AC charger

This incident regards the AC charger for a laptop computer. I purchased this AC charger as a stand-alone product on Ebay. While the computer was plugged into a wall outlet overnight using this charger, the charger itself overheated. The casing melted, and burned a hole in a sofa cushion on which it was resting. I am very concerned about this incident because it could easily have started a fire while we were sleeping. The charger was used in a manner in which it was supposed to be used.
