The product, in the report: Smart meter WE Energies to tally total usage of electric in home

We had a fire that started at the electrical meter box. We have a smart meter. The fire started at the smart meter and went up to the transformer at the electric pole at the street. It started just the way described here on line. There was loud popping and sparks coming from the meter and fire above and not below the meter. The fire was also at the Transformer at the street.

I was fortunate because no one was hurt. It was during the day and everyone was home. There was fire at the transformer. I incurred much expense. WE Energies states it was the home owners responsibility because it is owned by the home owner. They did not say it was the smart meter but there were no issues before the fire and fire only from the box up.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
