On April 10, 2013 I plugged in my RadioShack 4 “hole” USB 2.0 Hub. It started to smoke, got hot and smelled so bad that it burned the inside of my nose. The unit is approximately 7 years old. I called RadioShack corporate office to ask if there was a recall on this item. They said no, so just throw it away.... The catalog no is 26-311. I will keep this unit for awhile in the event you might want to look at it.
