The product, in the report: Milbank Manufacturing Co. Meter Socket model number U4835-X-2/200B. This is the Meter box located on the outside of homes.
To whom it may concern; I am writing to you to report a product failure. The product that failed at my house is produced by Milbank Manufacturing Co. It is a UL certified Meter Socket model number U4835-X-2/200B.
The two segment natural bar failed at the overlapping joint behind the meter. (see pictures) I believe this product is designed and manufactured in a defective manner making it susceptible to failure.
The product and the investigation into the failure do not lived up to the United States CPSC stated Standards and Ethics. I look forward to an in-depth discussion with you on these matters.
