The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: This is a meter installed by Lakeland Electric inside the meter box.

    Subject: No Cost Analog Meters

    Hi,

Smart meters are being rolled out despite being a class 2b carcinogen, causing heart arrhythmia, head ache, other health problems and invasion of privacy. Private military organizations and utilities were awarded 3.4 billion to implement smart meters and smart grid against peoples wishes and behind the false premise of “green”. We should be able to choose if we want our privacy invaded and if we want to expose ourselves to carcinogens. This invades our Constitutional rights to privacy, liberty and life. NO MORE CANCER, NO MORE TRAMPLING ON OUR CONSITUTION! They also cause electrical fires and I has one catch on fire on June 7th 2014. My electric company Lakeland Electric said they were not responsible and told us we had to fix the problem within ten days or they would turn off the electric at the pole. They also told us we could switch back to the regular meter for $18.00 more a month, this is EXTORTION. That’s why I signed a petition to The California State House, The California State Senate, and 4 others.
