The product, in the report: Smart Meter

This caller is reporting a Gyr Landis smart meter that was at one time placed on her home late September/early October 2011 but was moved to approximately 70 feet away from her home in 2015 due to adverse reactions causing illness that began a couple of weeks after it was placed on her home.

She began to hear buzzing in her ears the first two weeks then a couple of months later she began to exhibit neurological symptoms similar to Parkinson’s Disease .

The symptoms reduced the dexterity in her hands, limited range of motion of her right arm, she began having tremors and shaking in her entire body.

She believed that if the meter was moved her symptoms would then improve, however because it is a wiring meter it is still connected with communication signals in electrical wiring that it was never meant to carry.

She has been seen by her physician but states that these conditions as a result of the smart meters is so new that doctors are not extremely familiar with them. Her physician however did draft a letter stating that it would be a good idea to remove the meter from anyone near her living area or property.

Her mobility has recently began to suffer and she states that this is due to the smart meter and the communication signals acting as an antenna damaging her health and quality of life.

The caller has contacted the utility company asking that this meter be changed back to an analog meter but this request has been refused.
