The product, in the report: EDUP 350W 5-in-1 StarLink PoE Injector for Starlink Standard 4 4X Gen 3 Wide Voltage Input & High Power Output PoE injector output delivering up to 320W total power. Ideal for outdoor setups, RVs, vans, and mobile networking.
I purchased an EDUP Starlink POE injector, intended to create a more efficient way to power a Starlink dish off of an RV 12v battery system. Shortly after wiring the device and testing the functionality, the unit emitted a jet of flames about 6 inches out from underneath it. This scorched and nearly ignited the backing on which all of my devices are mounted which would have caused a larger fire in my RV. It was lucky I was there to cut power.
