The product, in the report: 2 amp tablet charger.

I have recently purchased a 12 inch tablet off ebay on 2013, on charging the tablet the charger exploded and the back blew off exposing the internal parts. My friend who is an electrical engineer was very concerned as he noted that the charger was 2 amps and well capable of killing an adult. I have notified the vendor and they have said they will replace the charger but seem not to be taking the gravity of the situation. I still have the charger and all the details of the vendor. I have two small children and am concerned that if this matter is not addressed it may injure or kill someone. [REDACTED] please feel free to contact me asap as I feel this matter needs addressing as a matter of urgency.
