The product, in the report: Aquara G4 smart video doorbell. It has two parts. The chime repeater which plugs in indoors. The second part is the main doorbell module for outdoors. It can be wired or used with batteries. I chose batteries for testing. The doorbell is black or dark gray. It measures about 5.5 inches x 2.5 inches.
I installed batteries in the Aquara G4 smart doorbell. I was looking for a place outside too test it. It started to feel very warm and then hot. I opened the back to remove the batteries. By this time the batteries were too hot to touch and I had to remove them with a credit card. After 10 minutes or so I decided to try and take the temperature of the batteries. I put a meat thermometer in between a couple of batteries. At that time it was 140 degrees. I struggled to get a photo of the led thermometer. I eventually succeeded by getting a screen shot at 133 degrees.
