The product, in the report: Tecmark LectricAir SAFPAC17. This is the dual-outlet model which the prior recall explicitly says it does not cover. But this unit failed the same way with an internal fire at the air switch.
A tecmark model SAFPAC17 date code 3811 air switch for insinkerator garbage disposal caught fire due to water infusion. It appears this is similar to a recall, but this product is still sold and is clearly unsafe.
