The product, in the report: Amazon.com ASIN: B0BC2CW6DM - Title: “Clear Outlet Cover Box [Patented] Double Lock for Much Better Toddler Proofing, Easier Operation, Simple 3 Step Install with Included Screws. Provides Extra Space Inside for Plugs” - Package Dimensions 7.17 x 4.69 x 3.35 inches - Item Model number: OCB20
This product endangered my baby and needs to be redesigned before other children are seriously injured or worse. The product claims to protect babies from electrical outlets. Well, even a cursory review of the hinge design reveals that it is intentionally designed to have a breakaway hinge for easier product packaging. This hinge makes it trivial for my 18-month-old to simply tug on the cover from the built-in cord hole, and the entire assembly pops off. We have 5 of these and our baby thinks its funny to pull the FULLY LOCKED cover off. A product safety recall should happen
