The product, in the report: Indoor and outdoor Oil Lamp

I’ve had it for few months as I was planning ahead for future power outages. Well with tropical storm Cindy upon us I thought oh better get the lamp ready hustle in case. It had accrued some dust so grabbed the lantern took it from the box and went to wipe the dust from the rim of I guess it’s the globe the hurricane portion that you remove to light the wick. I was wiping around the rim and my hand became stuck, I thought oh geeze how’d that happen?? I actually had to tug on it to get my hand out because of a nipple type piece of glass was protruding from it. It hurt to be quite honest. This punctured my skin about 1/4 to half inch of glass into my hand. a small piece broke off in my hand and the larger bit is still attached. You can see this in the attached photos. I’ve never seen this type of glass bit still attached. I would imagine it’s generally sanded and or rounded off while the glass is still hot. It’s quite dangerous and I’m glad the whole thing didn’t shatter when I was pulling my hand back from the tugging to get my hand out of the edge of the glass. The hurricane shaped glass cover/dome. Got my hand back to see the puncture and hand start bleeding. and had to get the glass out and clean it out, and bandage it made me bleed. It’s not a major injury but my line of work requires all injuries to be reported to us no matter how small, thus the reason I am reporting.
