Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

The product, in the report: Califon Coffee Table with a wooden base, glass top and metal legs Name: Califon Coffee Table Dimensions: 48” X 24” Color: Base is wooden Price: $272.99 Link to how the product looks - [REDACTED]

I purchased a coffee table from Wayfair (the retailer is called Wade Logan) in November 2018 for ~$300. The coffee table has a wooden base & a glass top & metal legs. Today as my husband was standing across from the coffee table, the glass top just broke into shreds, without any reason, leaving small glass parts flying all over the living room. I’ve spoken to Wayfair - and they don’t have an email/ someone I can write to, to formally complain against the item quality. For this reason, I’m reaching out to you. I would appreciate it if the Consumer product safety commission would investigate this, since it is a serious product hazard and could hurt other people that are currently using the product.
