The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Taylor Made Glass Table

Taylor Made Glass Table EXPOLDES! Saturday, September 22nd was a bright sunny afternoon. We had a few friends over on our deck to enjoy the fall weather. Out of the blue we all hear a loud bang and in a second, the table was gone. No one was touching it and there was no weight on the table. Immediately, I reach for my phone to document the event. As you can see we were all in shock. Then tried to figure out what to do, since our feet were covered in. We had to pick shards of glass from hands and feet. This was done on site and we did not go to the ER. We had competent people on hand. They need to reviewed the pictures of this event. And a simple replacement of the table is not sufficient. The table did not crack, it exploded and showered 4 people and a dog with glass. Injuries were incurred. I expect fair compensation for our table, damage to the deck and injuries. We will never purchase a “glass” table again and this should be removed from the market.
