The product, in the report: Product: Sullivan’s Home Hobby Table Model 12570
The Sullivan’s Home Hobby Table Item # 13132808 That I purchased from www.Joann.com collapsed on me and my child while drafting a paper sewing pattern. The legs collapsed to the side and the heavy metal bar(table leg) fell on my child’s foot. The table has been very unstable since time of purchase. I contacted the Sullivan Company direct through email earlier this month because I thought maybe if i take the wheels off it would be sturdier. There is no way to take the wheels off, even tho they claim they pop out! It wasn’t the wheels that caused the accident. The outter metal bars (legs) that connect under the table to the middle frame foundation has no support. It has a metal piece that just sits inside the bottom metal frame foundation bar with no security so it wobbles back and forth. Well the table collapsed the metal outter bar bent and it caused the metal to break at the post where the screws connect. It’s a safety hazard.
