The product, in the report: I purchased a Martha Living 5 peace patio table set on July 15 2012. On 07/25/2012 at 12:00PM CST glass just simply broke. no sign of crack/or anything big sound and glass broke(As if vaccum sucked glass from bottom). This appears to be a material defect. Glass was not able to handle record heat in STLouis. Very hot from past 2-3 weeks every day. Manufacturer and HomeDepot are not helping/accepting any thing that this is their issue. In my mind this is a saftey issue, someone would have injured if any kids/adults were close when it broke. Manufacturer Details: BJI, Inc. Attn: Customer Service 20 Kingbrook Parkway Simpsonville, KY 40067 Phone: 866-851-3006 EMail:customerservice@bji.com I hope your investigation concludes this as a potential safety issue & they cover my warranty to fix.

I purchased a Martha Living 5 peace patio table set on July 15 2012 at HomeDepot store in St Louis MO.

On 07/25/2012 at 12:00PM CST glass just simply broke (As if vaccum cleaner sucked glass to earth). no sign of crack/or anything big sound and glass just fell down.

This appears to be a glass material defect where brand new Patio glass was not able to handle Stlouis sustained high tempreatures above 100 degrees from past 2-3 weeks continuously.

As a father of 2 small kids this is a safety issue for me, Imagine if my kids/adults were around the table. I am attaching the proof of picture which were taken as soon as glass broke.

HomeDepot/BJI Inc are not accepting that there is a problem & refused to help.

Here is the Home depot proof:
