The product, in the report: Dining Room Furniture
This caller is reporting dinette furniture purchased 10/28/2014 from furniture store in Tennessee and then replaced twice. The first one delivered had a piece broken off of side, this was returned then the next one the leaf fell out with the third one delivered seemed fine.
In February 2016 her three year old grandson was under the table that was delivered the third time when the leaf and another piece fell off with one piece hitting him in the forehead and the other hitting him in the back of the heard.
Her grandson weighs about thirty pounds, he is slim & small built.
The physician was contacted and they were advised to monitor the child for any odd behavior and watch that the swelling was an outward and not inward process.
She contacted the retailer who has replaced the table with a different manufacturers product and model.
Both crosswise pieces holding the leaf gave way The leaf hit him in the forhead causing a large bruise and it caused the back of his head to either hit the floor or table leg causing a large lump and bruise.
