The product, in the report: Elite Modern Victor Table

Re: Elite Modern Victor Glass Table

The above glass dining room table which I had delivered in October 2013 literally exploded on 9/30/14. The cost of the table was approximately $1500 and was purchased from a high end furniture store. The table can be viewed on the web site of Elite Modern. The manufacturer is the Elite Manufacturing Corporation in California.

Fortunately, no injuries occurred since I was in another room when this happen. Glass fragments flew everywhere and the sound was as if a bomb exploded.

The table was placed a distance from windows (i.e., it was not in direct sunlight) and I keep the temperature of the room in which it was located at around 75 degrees. The table was not subject to heavy use (I generally eat sitting in front of the TV on the sofa close to where the table is located and I live alone) and the only object on the table was a glass centerpiece (purchased from the same furniture store from which I purchased the table) that I estimate weighed nor more than several pounds.

I have pictures available of the damage (in the event I have difficulty attaching them to this report).
