The product, in the report: Darby Home 28” Chess and Backgammon table item # 82846

Wayfair. LLC 4 Copley Pl. 7th Fl. Boston, MA 02116

    To Whom It May Concern:

I’m writing to inform you of the toxic fumes emitting from the item I purchased on 4/22/20 and was delivered and charged to my account on 4/29/20.

The item number is: 82846, the 28” Darby Home Chess and Backgammon table Order Number is: [REDACTED]

We un-packaged the item upon arrival and looked forward to using it. We immediately noticed a strong odor, but thought it would dissipate quickly. To our alarm, the odor has become worse, and we have had to remove it from our home into the garage. I am requesting a refund, as I am convinced it is not safe for you to re-sell this, nor for me to donate it. I, along with other members of my family, have had symptoms of nausea and dizziness in the time we’ve had it in our home, which subsided after removing it and thoroughly airing out the house.

Ethically, the item should be removed from your offerings. I expect a refund and removal of it from your online catalog, I am also reporting this item to the Consumer Products Safety Commission for their evaluation.

Please inform me of your intended action. Thank you. [REDACTED]
