The product, in the report: Capris CK365 cocktail table
Capris Furniture CK365 cocktail table glass tabletop spontaneously exploded when no one was at home. After being away for ten days we returned to find glass from the tabletop everywhere including the living room (where the table was located), the kitchen, two hallways, and the master and guest bedrooms. Glass was found in every corner of the living room including on surfaces well above the tabletop (bookcase shelves, desktop, etc.). Contacted the manufacturer Capris Furniture Industries, 1401 NW 27th Ave, Ocala, FL 34475, 352-629-8889, http://caprisfurniture.com/ today and spoke to [REDACTED] who did not want to discuss the possibility of a manufacturing defect. The only suggestion she offered was for us to contact one of their distributors and order and pay for a replacement tabletop. We ordered the table as well as most of the other furniture living room group pieces including another glass top lamp table in September 2015. The furniture was delivered in November and December of that year.
