  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 6, 2016, sent to the company Aug 12, 2016, published by CPSC Aug 26, 2016

The product, in the report: outdoor patio set (1 table 6 chairs)

The consumer and his wife were sitting at the table, when all of a sudden, one piece of glass fell from the table. Next, all of the glass fell from the table to the floor. The temperature was somewhere around 90 degrees that day. After all of the glass fell on the floor, a few pieces of glass shards continued popping and moving around. This continued with some pieces up to an hour later.

The consumer was not injured and the damage was limited to the table.

The consumer went to the dealer the following day. Their rep. said that they were not aware of any problems of this nature and suggested that the consumer contact the mfr.

The consumer checked www.saferproducts.gov and saw that there were other reports of this nature on the site. However, this manufacturer did not appear to be included in any CPSC recalls.
