  1. First aid

Made Nov 11, 2024, sent to the company Nov 22, 2024, published by CPSC Dec 9, 2024

The product, in the report: It’s furniture, a bathroom cabinet, that requires assembly. Item: Manhattan Bathroom Floor Storage Cabinet, Bathroom Cabinet Freestanding, with 4 Drawers, Adjustable Shelf Finish: White Size: 35.4” H x 25.6” W x 13.8” D Qty: 1 Price: $83.99

This product smells extremely toxic and hazardous and my family, including a small baby, has suffered respiratory sickness as a result of this product in our home. Upon initially opening the box to assemble it there was a very strong toxic odor. I washed every component in the box with soap and water hoping that would resolve the smell. It did not. It’s very evident that this smell is not safe.

Myself, and the baby have suffered respiratory sicknesses as a result of this product. Upon entering the room where this product is being used, a strong and dangerous odor, perhaps that of Formaldehyde, are very evident.

Injuries occurred during product assembly and by entering the same room as the product and breathing normally.
