The product, in the report: Virtu USA ,Gloria 48” bathroom vanity, with chrome mirror.
This is regarding Virtu USA Mirror and vanity combo, sold through Houzz.com. It was installed by a licensed contractor. Two years after installation, the adhesive that the manufacturer used to adhere the mirror to the mirror frame spontaneously failed. The mirror fell on the vanity, spraying the bathroom and hallway in glass shards. Nobody was in the bathroom or hallway at the time, or they very likely would have been injured.
I contacted Virtu USA, and first they claimed that I damaged the mirror. When I pointed out that the adhesive failed spontaneously, and the entire mirror detached, they replied that it was out of warranty.
