No one hurt Made Mar 15, 2019, sent to the company Apr 2, 2019, published by CPSC Apr 16, 2019
The product, in the report: lighted bath cabinet with 3 mirror doors
model 63048 a lighted bath cabinet i bought the end of 2010 beginning of 2011 has had the mirrors come loose several times. always when i was opening them and they dropped in my hand and we tightened them up and they seemed fine. Then out of nowhere the other day the middle one just fell off! We were in the other room. It chipped my vanity counter top and it gouged the wall and took paint off. They have no replacement one for it in the correct size. I noticed there had been a recall in 2008 on the same vanity while researching this. This seems to be dangerous and also expensive to replace the mirrors. Damage to my other items in bathroom is a problem and i would like to file suit. what do i do next. thank you for your help

The product, in the report: RSI Estate 5 light mirrored medicine cabinet
Hello, Recently my bathroom mirror fell off, and when I googled the problem I found your website stating that there is a recall for this product, an RSI Estate 5-light mirror.
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08533.html
The website stated that you would like further reports of problems so I am sending this email. The center mirror on my unit did fall off exactly as described in the recall. The metal connector snapped in two and the mirror fell. No one was injured.
I contacted RSI today and they are following up. I hope they will replace the mirrors as described in the recall.
