The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: French style kitchen curio cabinet with wooden shelves and glass windows

We heard a strange sound. My husband went into the kitchen to investigate and our glass paneled pier one curio cabinet had completely shattered with significant large chunks of glass with sharp edges all over the kitchen. This is a relatively new piece of furniture that is less than three years old. There was no trauma to the glass, bumping or damage and it was completely spontaneous. Very frightening. My husband got cut cleaning up the glass.
