The product, in the report: tip-resistant furniture bracket
We were rearranging furniture in my sons bedroom & we were about to undo the furniture safety strap that we had put in place on his tall bookcase & without any force what so ever the strap snapped into 3 pieces. If he had climbed onto this bookcase there is no doubt in my mind this strap would not have held & the bookcase would have fallen on him. We moved into this home 2 & a half years ago so these straps cannot have been in place longer than that.
