The product, in the report: I bought Gladiator Garage Works Overhead Gearloft Storage Rack, 4’ x 8’ in Granite, GALS48M4JG. This is a storage shelf that hangs from the ceiling in your garage. Upon trying to install it, several bolts broke! This product is meant for overhead storage, and so having unsound bolts is very dangerous. I called Gladiator to report it; the representative said that they had received numerous complaints about this, but when I asked what was being done about it, he had no answer. If the bolts can’t even handle install, they sure as heck aren’t sound to support heavy overhead storage. This seems like an accident waiting to happen, and the company seems non-responsive to doing anything to recall product or send out stronger bolts or other responsible action to address the issue.
