Over the last two weeks, we have noticed a distinct smell of wood smoldering--a very “hot” smell as though something was burning, but we couldn’t put our finger on it.
THANKFULLY, I discovered our beautiful, internally lit, Villa Library Bookcase was literally burning a recently placed decorative wooden bowl and a book!! (Please see attached photos.) This is an URGENT fire hazard.
I never would have thought that a light bulb that comes with the bookcase would catch the books and other contents it holds on fire.
