I bought a ladder bookshelf from Macys.com. It is labeled as ‘Coaster Home Furnishings Barkley Transitional Bookcase’ (Web ID 6908864). This product does not come with any wall mounts or anchors of any kind. I contacted Macys and they informed me to “Lean it against the wall.” I did exactly as instructed and the front feet slid forward and the shelf fell. This item is completely unstable and dangerous. This product looks like a ladder to a child. The slightest weight added to it could be fatal to an infant. Please recall this item, Macys will not make any changes to the product.
