No one hurt Made Oct 16, 2025, sent to the company Oct 29, 2025, published by CPSC Nov 26, 2025
The product, in the report: Tesso Chrome/Glass Bookcase
I am writing to report a very serious and dangerous incident involving the Tesso Chrome/Glass Bookcase from cB2
Today, without any contact or disturbance, the glass on the shelf exploded across my house, sending shards flying into my living room. My children were sitting nearby, and glass flew into their toys and all around them. It was a terrifying and extremely hazardous situationwe are incredibly lucky no one was seriously injured (other than some minor scratches during cleanup), which took me over 3 hours to clean up!
This is completely unacceptable. A product designed for the homeespecially one with large glass panelsmust be engineered to withstand normal use and environmental conditions without posing this kind of threat.
Complaint was sent to stores, with no follow up.

First aid Made Dec 27, 2021, sent to the company Dec 29, 2021, published by CPSC Jan 13, 2022
The product, in the report: CB2 Fan Natural Rattan Room Divider Color Tan Material Natural plant material Dimensions 65”Wx1”Dx70”H Description Peekaboo panels. Rattan room divider cuts a sexy silhouette with four fan-shaped panels in light honey finish. Staggered in height, each panel arches upward revealing an open, airy center section. Finished on both sides, divider looks chic from every angle. Learn about Brett Beldock on our blog. CB2 exclusive. -Designed by [REDACTED] -Four panel laminated rattan with light honey brown finish -Metal hardware and hinges -Each will be unique -Made in the Philippines
The rattan room divider has not been safely made and CB2 will not accept a product return. The room divider is very top heavy, does not stand level, was warped upon receipt, and the hinges do not allow the room divider to be positioned safely. I am an adult and was using the product as a room divider and it repeatedly toppled over. The room divider has fallen and caused injury multiple times, it is not safe in any household. This is an unsafe product and I would like CB2 to accept a product return before more people are injured.
