The product, in the report: The product was a foam sleeping wedge intended to support infants in an elevated position as they sleep. The specific measurements are unknown as the tag was removed from the product, so all specific details have been garnered from the product’s website (https://tucker-sling.myshopify.com/collections/tucker-sling-and-foam-wedge-combination)
A 5-month-old infant was found deceased by her mother in her crib when she was sleeping in/on a Turner Sling and Foam Wedge. (Product website: https://tucker-sling.myshopify.com/collections/tucker-sling-and-foam-wedge-combination). This sleeping wedge was reportedly provided to family by the Seattle Children’s Hospital after they were born. The product appeared to have been used as intended (the infant was secured by the sling to the wedge), but information on possible injuries is still pending additional investigation and examination.
