This product is an electric mattress pad (like an electric blanket but goes under the sheets) . I noticed burn marks on my skin upon wakening several days in a row before I concluded that the mattress pad was getting a isolated section that was extremely hot. Upon further inspection there is a burn mark on the pad itself and several burn marks on my mattress under this “hot spot” .
Fire hazard, personal injury hazard.
